I ran 3 miles today, and it was very cool. I just finished,
Born to Run by Christopher McDougall, and it was inspiring. He wrote about quickness of turnover for a short stride. How people with these short strides can run long distances, and often. I tried the quick turnover, and it felt good. I can't say I'm doing it correctly as I may be cement feet right now, but I'm consciously trying a quick turnover, as I imagine myself running over hot coals. The feeling should be light and easy, and I'm reaching for that state of running.
